What is new this week?

This week I have been super busy with a number of layouts LOL. ZigZagScrap has got a lot of great stuff to come this month. So stay tuned I love to share it with you, but first I like the share what's new in store this week.

Angelle design made a great "Alpha Mix" alpha pack. This alpha pack contains 3 different alphas: Blue silver, Green Polka Dot and Orange Stained. They are bright, "juicy" and perfect for adding the final touch to your LOs. Each of them is made in 2 variants: English and Russian. I will only say it here on my blog, so please don't tell it further :), I am not a big fan of alpha's. Why I don't know, so when Angelle Design came up with this alpha pack I had to made a LO with it and to my big surprise I liked it. So I don't know why I have troubles with using alpha's.

Another great kit is "Dearly full kit" by Kokon Scrap-Art. 'Dearly' is a kit in beautiful colors and great elements that you must have in your collection. I love various kind of music for example light classic, reggae, pop, rock etc. We have been twice to Jamaica for holiday and the impact of Bob Marley's music is big and everywhere you came you heard his music. I loved to hear it, but when there is only one Cd on repeat for two weeks it got a bit much for me. So when I came home I didn't listen to Bob Marley anymore. I had downloaded the cd of Katherine Jenkins "Believe" and I was surprised she did a cover of the song of Bob Marley "No Woman, no cry". I thought it couldn't be covered :) but I love the song and if I want to relax I put it on and try (yeah try) to sing with it. LOL. I haven't heard the neighbors complain yet.

So the song is at the moment on repeat and I wanted to share it with you :)

As you know I am one several creative teams and I had so say goodbye to some. I mostly had time to made layouts for my teams and didn't had more time to do more and now I notice I have time to create other layouts and even got my photo book finished of my "Straight to Josh" tour which I received this week finally. It got 122 pages and I am really proud of it. It became more a dairy/scrap/photo book.

I already shared some pages with you in a previous blog. But this one I really love. Josh likes to sing "Smile" a song by Charlie Chaplin and to all my 5 concert he finished it with this song. I wanted to do more with my pictures and looked up some Charlie pics. I put the lyrics of the song on it and did some blending.

What's new this week

Angelle design has made a great collab with Camomile Designs called "Color your Memories". It is a great colorful collab. The collab is available in a bundle or in separate packs. They made elements, templates, clusters and alpha's. A lot of stuff you can use for your layouts.

I loved to work with clusters. Why? They are so sweet and easy to use in your layout and it looks like it took me a lot of time to make it :) Sometimes you can use that because I also have to work and do my housework. In both of my LO's used one of the clusters and add some elements to it.

I also played with another collab "It must be Love" by Bekah E & Pink Reptile Designs. I love the style of Pink Reptile and I couln't resist to make a dreamy layout.

First of all we have a new designer at Zig Zag Scrap and that's Dasha of Angelle Design.

Meet Dasha, aka Angelle Design! Dasha is from Russia, almost 29 years old, happily married, has a wonderful 4-year old son called Tim and apart from being a wife, mom and digi designer, she teaches English!

By accident I came in touch with her when she send me a pm asking me if I wanted to be on her guest ct in 2010. She was a starter. So I did, but when her store stopped she also stopped with designing. A couple of weeks ago I received an email of her asking if I wanted to be on her permanent ct. I could not resist it and the funny thing is her store is at Zig Zag Scrap. Why funny? Most of my ct designers have their shop at ZZS. So sometimes it is difficult for me to be creative :) but hey I am drifting away because I was talking about Dasha. Meanwhile she was on a couple of ct and I saw her LO's in several gallery's and I must admit I became a big fan of her work. If you want to see it you can go to her blog.

As of today she opened her store and man what great kits she already has. The first one is: "My Boyfriend is a Gamer" mini-kit.

The second one is: "My Jake..." Bundle. This one is a bit bigger, because it has templates and alphas, but I you don't want to have the whole package it is also available separte.

I used first the gray background, because another ct member used the same paper I changed it to pink. I like them both, but I prefer the first one. What do you think? It is also my first LO without pictures and I am very happy with it.

Dit jaar is er weer een digiscrap event en zal plaatsvinden op 11 maart a.s. in Nunspeet. Verleden jaar was mijn eerste keer en het was zo leuk om achter de bekende namen ineens ook een gezicht te zien. Onder andere Jopke (mijn eerste ct designer) ontmoet en de andere lieve designers en creatieve meiden/dames met wie ik leuk en goed contact heb op het net en diverse forums.

Mocht je geïnteresseerd zijn, kan je je opgeven. Gewoon een heel gezellige dag voor iedereen die het digitaal scrappen een warm hart toedraagt. Ook als je nog niet zoveel ervaring hebt, is het een aanrader. Je komt met een hoofd vol inspiratie, tips en ideeën weer thuis! In de advertentie vind je de informatie. Ik hoop je daar te ontmoeten.

This year there is again a digiscrap event and will take place on March 11, a.s. in Nunspeet. Last year was my first time and it was so fun to get behind the familiar names and see a face. For example Jopke (my first ct designer) and meet the other dear designers and creative girls/ladies with whom I have good contact on the net and various forums.

For Christmas I got this great Idock as a present. I was so happy, because it was on my wishing list and I can finally listen to my big music collection without the ear buds while cleaning, creating, relaxing and still hear the doorbell.

I have tried to take a great pic of the backside of my Ipod, I am really proud of it because it is signed by Josh Groban. Yeah!! Only Josh used his own black pen (I had a pen that was suitable and also would stay on my Ipod) and I am afraid it will get off :( so it's in a transparent case, so I can enjoy it while it last :)

The songs on repeat at the moment are: Jason Mraz with "I won't give up". Great song.

The other song is: Josh Groban and he is back with "If I walk away". It is filmed by his brother Chris Groban.

I want to wish you all a happy, healthy and creative 2012. My holiday was great. Hope yours was also great. I celebrated Christmas with my family and we had a great and lovely dinner with presents and I loved mine. During my short break I decided to quite some of my creative teams with pain in my heart for the new year. I had suddenly a lot of free time and I must say I loved it. It also had to do with my photography course. It takes more time than was expected and I really hate it when I have to finished things to fast. Saying goodbye to those two designers gave me the chance to start in a ct and they learned me the ropes. One of them said that I can always come back if I want. Sweet, will keep this offer in mind.

I am going to pick up my duties as soon as I can. The month December was so busy. I had to make 4 photo books and I succeeded in three. The fourth one is mine. I am still busy with my tour in Scandinavia and I have reach the maximum of this album; 120 pages. I still have to check if everything is alright and some finishing touch here and there and then I can finally order my book.

One thing I have noticed is I love to use double page templates and I love the templates of Simply Yin. I realized I made a lot of pictures and I know I have to choose the good ones, but I loved almost all of them and I really wanted to use them. So I search for some double page templates and now I have used most of the pictures.I love to show some of my layouts with you. The first one is "Exploring Copenhagen" and the second one is one of "Exploring Stockholm". The last one was in London and I made a lot of great pictures.

Yep, we are in the last month of the year and I love this month because I will celebrate my birthday, we will celebrate Christmas and we will welcome the new year. So welcome DECEMBER.

A lot of great kits with the theme "Christmas" have arrived. In the store of ZigZagScrap the next kits are available.

Almost Christmas

I love Christmas. Especially with snow, so I hope we will have snow this year. Last year we had a lot of snow with Christmas, but I was soooo sick Christmas past me by. I also couldn't make snowy pictures, so I would like to have another chance.

And Christmas means London to us. My birthday is in December and because my husband doesn't know what to give me, we go for a couple of days to London. I am in love with the city especially around the holidays. Love the decoration and the atmosphere. For some reason we didn't book a trip to London last year and that was good because I got sick. I had a terrible flue and I was out for two weeks and I had to convalesce.

So this year we are going again. September I bought my ticket to a George Michael - Symphonica /The orchestral tour - concert in London around the time we always go. I was so happy when I received my ticket.

Only a couple of days later I saw this in the papers; George Michael is sick and canceled Vienna concert. Not only that got me worried. My husband is overseas for his work and is coming home in two weeks, if plans are not changed. So fingers crossed. Yesterday I received an email all dates of the tour are canceled and I will hear when it will be rescheduled. I hope he will recover well. Can't wait to hear him sing live. This will be my first concert of him. I have never been to a Wham or one of his previous concerts. Get well!!

George Michael axes tour as fears grown over his health

It is said for George, he got sick, but that means I will be going twice to London. Instead of my concert I think I will be going to a musical. Have to find out which I will be seeing.

Wow, oooh wow, Valerie of ValC Designs has teamed up with Erica Zwart, a Dutch designer. I know Erica's work and I was so surprised because I love both designers Their collab is a fantastic one and it's called "Typically you". Hopefully they will continue their collab.

I used the bundle but all is sold separately, as you know a bundle is cheaper and the bundle will be 20% off during the weekend @ ZZS. Winter

I love how the seasons change and I can't wait for winter. It sounds crazy, but I love the walks in the snow, enjoy the views and after that enjoying a big cup of hot chocolate milk with wipe cream. :)

Page.One has made a great kit called "Winter". It has more then 100 elements, 25 papers and 4 different alpha's. Did I mention blue is my favorite color? Back in the saddle

It's been a while since I have been creative for my ct's. That's because I am still adjusting from my holiday mode :) Also I am a bit tired lately. Don't know if it's because of the weather. It's getting dark earlier and pretty cold. Tonight our time will be set back a hour earlier, so I can catch up with my sleep. Hope to get some energy soon.

I also have a lot of great things on the agenda for the next weeks. For example friends of mine are getting married and I have been asked to take their photos on their wedding day. It will be my first time and I was a bit nervous, but they assured me that they will be happy no matter what. Hmmm they have a lot of confidence in me. We are also arranging a stag night. That will be next week. Of course I can't say anything about that. I am also going to follow a photo course. I will get lessons in photograph models, buildings, advertisement and a lot more. The course will last about 4 months and will be finished with an exposition of my work. Aaaah how terrifying. I love to show my work, but to others who will be judging it. Will keep you up to date how everything is going on.

Back to business I have started with my first ct duty for Mo & Mo studio. They have made some great clear pockets. A set of 10 plastic pockets. Very nice detail on your layout when you stick a photo or elements in it and available @ ZigZagScrap.

Cats

Just checking in. I just arrived from my holiday at Cos, Greece. We had a great time. Enjoyed sun, sea and beach a lot. Also read a book, just a chick lit, Mini Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. I love the series, but with this book I had mixed feelings. The start of the book annoyed me and some piece were great, but now and then I didn't liked the story. Maybe it is enough for me. We also cycled and two days we hired a motorcycle to explore the island and went to the beautiful beaches at the other side.

I also made a lot of pictures, mostly about the cats of Cos. The Greek cats are famous and most of the cats are healthy and well fed, but sometimes you see animals which aren't threaten well. It breaks my heart and I wish I could do more. There is a place called "Asklepion". Asklepeio is the most significant archaeological site on the island. We are coming for 3 years to this island and each year we go and see the cats, give them a bit of attention and chunks. Last year there were just a couple of cats, but this year we had a big surprise. There were around 35 cats.

At first it was a great sight to see all the cats lying there, but when you looked closely you could see those cats were sick and I am afraid a lot of them will not survive. They were seeking attention and I wish I could hug them, but they were sneezing, some of them had no eyes, ears etc. not a pretty sight. We stayed a while and they posed for me and we gave them the attention we could give and some fresh chucks. As I said I wish I could do more. For now I just have to let it go.

I hope to see my own cat soon. He is staying at my mom (and she is spoiling him) at the moment, because Monday I am leaving again, this time to London and my hubby to St. Eustatius for work. I have to wait a few more days to see him again.

Holiday

Perhaps the title of my previous post "take a break" was meant for me. I have some great new kits that I would like to share with you, but more on that later.

"Take a Break" is what I am going to do. This week will be my last at work and then I am going to enjoy my holiday of four weeks. The first week I am going to Scandinavia, what I'm doing to do over there you can read on my other blog; Memoirs of a Grobanite. This blog is dedicated to Josh Groban. I've neglected the blog a bit, but I hope to replenish it with more of my information, experiences and photos soon, because it's only four days when it all will start. Just posted that I won a meet and greet with Josh Groban in Bergen/Norway. I hope to keep you informed about my trip. Depending if we will be having internet and time to do this :)

When I am back from Scandinavia I will be going to Cos/Greece to enjoy sun, sea and sand for a fortnight with my husband. After Cos I will be going to London to enjoy my last concert of Josh and then my holiday will be over. So I am taking a break of my creative team duties.

Before I am going to do that I want to share some great new kits with you.ValC has this time a beauty of a kit called "Fly High". I love to blend and her wordart this time are phenomenal.

The next kit is also of one of my favorite designers. Kokon Scrap-Art has a new kit 'Between Summer and Winter'. It's a fall one and the colors are so great to work with. I didn't have much time and made just one LO. I still hope you like it and as I said the kit is a beauty to use.

Take a break

I am more a tea person but now and them I appreciate a cup of coffee. Only I must drink my coffee with milk and sugar and love some whip cream on it. Otherwise I won't like/drink it.

Every time, when we are in London, my husband and I go to Starbucks to treat ourselves a cup of (ice)coffee. I know the coffee is expensive, but it's really a treat for us then a must. So we enjoy it more. In the Netherlands we only have two Starbucks. One in Utrecht and one at Schiphol Airport. So when I have a reason to go to Schiphol Airport, I just have to make a quick stop for a Frappuccino Caramel.

Wednesday the holiday of my cousin finished and had to go back to South America. I went to wave her off at the airport, which was a sad moment because I don't know when I will see her again.

While I was there I stopped for my Frappuccino Caramel when I saw the caramel flavoured dizzle sauce. My friend Danielle was looking for the sauce so she could try to make her own ice coffee. So I bought a bottle for her and why not for me. Now I also have to figure out how to make some ice coffee :)

The reason why I am talking about coffee has a reason, yes it does, it's because Marleen of Kokon Scrap-Art has a new kit "Take a Break". I used my pictures I made at Starbucks. Lazy Tommy

My other man in my life is my cat "Tommy". He is 3 years old. I still can remember when we got him from the shelter. He loves to explore and wants to spent most of his time outside even when it rains. Crazy cat. He can cuddle, but only when he wants, but I have learned him to cuddle with me just for a moment. When I come home from work or I just want to see him I call "cuddle" and he dash inside and takes place on the plateau in the hall. I ask him how his day was and if he missed me. LOL, but no reply but he loves my attention. He is a little bad man and loves to run around the house, goes though the back door and wants to get in through the front door. He does this a couple of times per day. When he comes inside he ran to the back door and he is off again.

I made some great pictures of him just to show you how lovely he can be :)

By accident I found this band called "Camila". I didn't know them, but glad to be introduce with their music.

"Camila is a Mexican soft rock group which reached staggering success in their home country and all over Latin America upon the release of their debut album Todo Cambió. It consists of vocalist, composer and producer Mario Domm, vocalist Samuel Parra and guitarist Pablo Hurtado, founded by Domm officially formed in 2005".

I have downloaded their cd "Dejarte de Amar" and I love the songs. Although it is in Spanish and I don't understand what they are singing, I just love it. One of the songs that's still on repeat is "Bésame".

Summer Carnival Rotterdam 2011

I love a good party and once a year we have a summer carnival in Rotterdam. Together with my mother, I usually watch the parade. This year the weather wasn't what it used to be and we had to wait and see how it would be. Off course we went and the weather was luckily alright. Sometimes a bit of rain and a some sun :) It started at 13.00 hrs and ended around 16.30 hrs. This year it was for the 27th time and we had 40 cars, the music wasn't that much surprising. A lot of "Danza Kuduro". I like the song, but hey there is more music :)

But the atmosphere was in it. A lot of great costumes and a lot of dancing. I took some pictures (yeah too much) and I love to share some of them with you.

As you can see it was a blast and up to next year!!

Last night I had a great evening. I went to see my old time favorite boy band "Take That". For the first time back in the old formation. I was so excited, but I had to work first. I did leave work a bit early and I would meet my friend at the train station. It was about a hours drive, but we had some treats and a lot to talk about ;) It was the first time for me to go to the Amsterdam Arena and our seats where very high. My friend prepared me for walking a lot of stairs, but when we arrived we were surprised our entrance had an escalator. We bought some drinks, did some window shopping at the merchandise store (did not buy anything) and went to find our seats. I am not afraid for heights, but we did had to adjust to the height.

The support act was the Pet Shop Boys. When I was a bit younger at that time :) I didn't liked all their songs, but at my age now I love them and they remind me of those good old days.

If you don't know them; Pet Shop Boys are an English electronic dance music duo, consisting of Neil Tennant, who provides main vocals, keyboards and occasional guitar, and Chris Lowe on keyboards.

One of the world's best-selling music artists, Pet Shop Boys have sold over 100 million records worldwide and are listed as the most successful duo in UK music history by The Guinness Book of Records. At exactly 20.30 hrs. the show started. There was even a countdown. First Gary, Jason, Howard and Marc came on stage and started to sing "Rule the world" (one of my favorite). I started to sing and luckily the music was so loud my neighbors didn't hear my bad singing.

And then it was time for Robbie. On "Youtube" I watch his entrance and I knew what was going to happen and wanted to take a picture, but instead I watch the whole thing. He is such an entertainer.

After Robbie's shown they appeared on stage as the old and new Take That.

I enjoyed the whole evening and I was sad the show was over and I cannot wait till the dvd will be in store.

A newbie

and an oldie

I love to keep a momento of an event and I wanted to have some pictures to remind me of this concert and I took my little camera with me. Sometimes they are strict with cameras but now they didn't say anything. Keep in mind we were sitting very high and I am very content with the result.

Although.... I am searching for a new camera especially for concerts. I have my eyes set on one. It has a great zoom lens, still doing my research and that's why I am not gonna tell which one it is until I have it. If you have an idea which camera would be perfect for me, please let me know. O by the way, the camera I used is a Canon SX200. I love Canon and maybe it's because I know how the camera's work.

Anyway I had a great evening with a friend of mine. We worked together, she started as an intern at my office, but due to circumstances she had to chance jobs and left the office almost 3 months ago. We keep in touch with "WhatsApp" and it is great to hear she is doing well. This evening we made plans to eat in a new restaurant in Rotterdam called Izkaya. The reason we wanted to go there is this great new concept (for us).

Your table has an touch button with which you can order your dishes, drinks, desserts, play games, watch the cook in the kitchen, chance your table decoration and get the check. You also have the possibility to plan your evening further by ordering a cab or plan which bars/theaters you want to visit. The only moment you see your waiter is when he/she is bringing your food/drinks to the table. There is a button to call if you want to speak to someone. It was SUCH FUN. We enjoyed it and we will be back to experience more. We just kept shooting :) Didn't mentioned it, but the food was great.

A couple of weeks I went to the Diergaarde Blijdorp (Rotterdam Zoo) and they have a butterfly garden. I LOVE butterflies and tried to capture them. Some of the pictures moved, but I edited them in Lightroom and the result is not bad :)

Footprints in the sand

Last year I made a picture with my footprints in the sand. I also tried to write my name in the sand, but you can hardly read it :) My picture came in handy when I had the pleasure to work with two great kits.

My first kit is "Painted Beach Accents No 1" by Mo & Mo Studio. I just love the accents. Mo & Mo Studio has a store @ digiscrap.nl, but now also @ ZigZagScrap and I so was happy to work with it. I am trying to digiscrap without photo's and I must say that's difficult but of course a challenge.

The elements are so sweet to work with. Last I took a photo of one of the wild cats of my parents in law. She was lying in the garden enjoying the sun and while we were talking she was pretending she was sleeping. I took my camera and make a picture of the moment. So sweet. Since 15 years she is staying with an other wild cat in the garden of my in laws. They take good care of them.

When I got the kit "Merla" I knew I wanted to use this picture. I edited it with Lightroom. For my LO I turned the picture.

Don't you just love it when you get spoiled? I love gifts. Small or large, it doesn't matter. Just love to get them. Today my in laws came back from their vacation in France and Germany. They brought me such a sweet gift.

It is a box in a heart shape and it says "Für Dich". "Für Dich" means "for you" in German. I unwrapped the gift and immediately loved the box. My MIL said I had to take a look in the box.It had teabags in the shape of hearts. I was so lovely. My MIL said when she saw it, it was the right present for me. Of course they didn't have to give me anything. We were happy they were back, but getting the right thing (just for me), made my heart melt. I had to take some pictures, which I have edited in Lightroom.

I think this is a great invention. Tap water is to drink, but there is always a taste which I don't like. I made a promise to myself to drink more water and therefore I purchased a Brita water filter, but these filters are a bit expensive and when it needed to replace I proposed it and that meant me not drinking enough water. The Bobble is, by me, not so expensive (Bobble cost € 11,95 and a filter € 7,95) because you can go anywhere and fill it with tap water wherever you are. The filter will last up to 300 fills. I like the design, got the blue one (my favorite color), but you can change the color by replacing the filter.

Ok, normally I would get ready to watch "So you think you can dance" but last Saturday it was the final. I couldn't watch it live because I was in Amsterdam for the City Chase. Luckily I recorded it and it was such a delight to watch it.
From the start Matt Flint was my favorite although Kristie, Katie and Luke weren't bad. I am going to miss the show and especially the choreography by Mandy Moore. Man how does she come up with the variety of choreography. Just want to share my favorite clips.

As you know I am on Jopke's ct and she is a great designer. I love her work and it is great to use it for those memories you wanna remember.

That can be mini kits, alpha, a paper pack or even a full kit. You will learn some about promoting. Like CTM enabling at some big scrapbook related forums, about RAKs, Freebies, and having a creating team.

On a rainy day

At this moment I am in the office and it's raining cats and dogs. Such a pity that the weather suddenly became gloomy. Luckily I have to work. Another advantage is that I will enjoy watching some DVDs this evening. Yesterday I watched the mini-series “North and South” by Elizabeth Gaskell.

Storyline:
Set against the backdrop of Victorian England's industrial north, it follows the fortunes of Margaret Hale, one of 19th century literature's most original heroines. Played by Daniela Denby-Ashe, Margaret is a privileged, middle class southerner who is forced to settle in the northern town of Milton. Margaret takes instant offence to the town and its people. She becomes terribly lonely and hates the dirt, noise and lack of civilisation, blaming their new way of life for her mother's ailing health. Her distaste for the town and its people extends to handsome and charismatic cotton mill owner John Thornton, (Richard Armitage), whom she believes epitomises everything she dislikes about the North. However, Margaret gradually begins to settle in Milton. Her social conscience awakens and she befriends some of the local mill workers, learning about their poverty and workplace struggles. As events conspire to throw Margaret and Thornton together, the two spirited characters have to overcome their repressed physical attraction for one another and conquer prejudices of class and circumstance.

It is one of my favorite BBC drama and it’s not a crime to watch it again. Especially mr. Thornton played by Richard Armitage.

After seeing him I was so glad he played the roll of Lucas North in the BBC series Spooks.

I can’t wait when it will start again. I am afraid Lucas will not be in the series seeing how the series ended, but I am hoping he will be back.

For now something totally different, because of the wheather I am in need of a sunny song and I like the new song "Rabiosa" by Shakira.

City Chase 2011 and Right to Play

Last Saturday I was active for the Right to Play foundation. For the first time was brought to Amsterdam the City Chase. If you do not know what the City Chase, look at this clip.

Approximately 70 teams (teams of 2) competed. Participants were asked to achieve City Chase Points. The fastest and completed all required points was the winner. The proceeds of the race was for Right to Play.

My place (on the Leidseplein) was at Chase Point 5 and the participants had a choice of two assignments. One was to take a picture of a group of 20 unknown persons with the banner of Right to Play, or 10 minutes on a gym ball.

The weather did not help in the beginning and most of the candidates went for a group photograph. It was really fun, but busy. Luckily I had a camera with me and have some nice pictures. At the beginning I wanted to participate in the race, but upon seeing the tasks I was glad I didn't :). Next year I will be present again as a volunteer, because this is something you really do not want to miss.

As you can see we got a total of € 6878,--

It was such a great event and I want to thank the organization and all the teams, who made it such a great event!!

I'm more a cat person but that does not mean I do not like dogs. We do not have a dog, but my friend Cindy has one and he called Tyson. Tyson is sweet, but he is very big.

Honey Designs has a collab with Valorie Wibbens and it's called "Must Love Dogs". I wanted to use the kit with pictures of Tyson something different that LO's with my catpicture. Of course you can use the kit for other reminders, not just for your dog pictures. The kit contains 80 elements.PNG, 20 backgrounds. JPG, and 1 alpha in two color versions all created at 300. dpi.

But last week I just cleaned my laptop with a not so wet cloth and suddenly the bottom computer keyboard is not working. We have tried a lot, but it still doesn't work. At the moment I am typing my update on the computer of my DH. He warned me not to clean his laptop. LOL. Luckily I still can make my LO's and I am using the internal keyboard, but it is hard en tiresome. I hope to find someone who can help me and otherwise I have to buy a external keyboard. Anyway a lot has happened in my digiscrap world.

When I saw this it reminded me of my school years. I loved to decorate my school appointment books with poems, pictures and my friends added some lovely little notes. It was sooo sweet and everybody wanted to take a look in it. I kept some of them and until now I still try to decorate my appointment book. So you understand I really love to have one of these. I have a lot of little stuff lying around and now I can give them a place to shine. Can't wait to pre-order one :)

Hi all,

It was a beautiful day and I just wanted to enjoy it. After a little scare, not so important, but my I-phone died for a moment. I have all my info on it and I had to call a friend because we had a date. I didn't know her number and of course with a dead phone it wasn't possible to get in touch. In the Netherlands there aren't any phone boots anymore, maybe at the train station, but that was out of my way. So I went home and after searching for her number I called and explained the situation. Later another friend called and I told her about my phone and because her boyfriend has the same problem with his I phone, she knew how to reset is and YES it came back to life. I don't know if it is just a glitch of Apple.

Ok, after my little scare I sat down in my garden to enjoy the lovely weather (it was around 23 degrees). I had a lot of magazines to read and this was the moment to catch up. After a while my eye caught mr. Tommy (you know my photo model LOL). Although, I was sitting in the garden he looked through the window if there was anybody inside to open the front door for him. Yeah right. I was so funny to watch, I just had to get my camera (and of course tried the zoom lens) out. Of course he went away and it took a while when he returned. In the meantime I took some pictures of a plant and I really love the result. Just wanted to share them with you.

From my camera - Rotterdam Marathon 2011

Today was the Rotterdam Marathon. I went with my mom to the marathon to encourage the runners. We were a bit late, but found a great spot to watch it and luckily we saw the top 5 running by. I made some great pictures. Maybe a bit to much but for me that's a habit :) All pictures are made by me expect the picture with the text ABN AMRO Rotterdam Marathon on it.

I am getting ready for a new workweek and it is the questions if can score some tickets for the "Straight to you" concert of Josh Groban. I realize I haven't mentioned it, but I am going to Scandinavia in September just to see 4 concert of Josh with some friends. I am also trying to get tickets for Amsterdam and London. Yes, I know I am crazy, but I really love it :) Have a great week!!!!

Meet my cat Tommy. He is adorable and sweet but he is so very active. Running down the stairs, terrorize the neighborhood cats and seeks a lot of attention. With my new camera I wanted to take some lovely pictures of him, so you how cute he can be, but somehow he knows when I want to take pictures of him. When I click the button and turns his head away. I also have to be careful if I want to use flash. He really doesn't love it when I am taking pictures again. So my mission is to take the cutest pictures of him. For now I have some, not the result I wanted, but they look nice. Don't you think?

By accident I am on the CT of Page One. I met her on one of the digiscrap chats and she mentioned she needed some creative team members and was wondering if I wanted to be on her team. I was so happy, because it's always a honor to be asked, but the great thing is I can work with her amazing kits.

Today Page One released her new kit "Me and my sister". You guessed the theme; Sister(s). Although I don't have sisters by blood I have some great friends who are like my sisters. We met each other about four years ago and we have shared a lot of happy and sad moments and there will be a lot more. So meet my sisters.
